
Paella Valenciana: The Authentic Taste of Spain

Paella Valenciana is Spain’s most iconic dish, originating from the Valencia region. Made with saffron-infused rice, fresh vegetables, and tender meats, this dish embodies the essence of Spanish cuisine.
Ingredients (Serves 4-6)
- 400g Bomba rice (available in our store)
- 1L chicken broth
- 300g chicken, chopped
- 200g rabbit, chopped
- 150g flat green beans
- 100g garrofón beans
- 2 ripe tomatoes, grated
- 1 tsp sweet paprika
- 1 pinch saffron (available in our store)
- 50ml extra virgin olive oil (available in our store)
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a paella pan over medium heat. Add the chicken and rabbit, and brown them well.
- Add the flat green beans and sauté for a few minutes. Then, stir in the grated tomato and cook until it forms a thick paste.
- Sprinkle in the paprika, stir quickly, then add the chicken broth and garrofón beans.
- Once boiling, add the saffron and season with salt. Let it simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add the Bomba rice evenly across the pan without stirring. Cook on high heat for 8 minutes, then reduce to low heat for another 10 minutes.
- Once the broth is absorbed, remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
